Video Suite helps you make the most of your video collections by enabling you to automatically catalog video into individual scenes, add and edit video metadata on a per-scene basis, and locate and webcast cataloged videos on a per-scene basis.
Cumulus can catalog entire video clips "out of the box," but only with Video Suite can users catalog video files into separate shots (asset records) for each scene—without affecting the master video file.

The Video Suite interface makes it easy to adjust shot (scene) boundaries using a Mac or PC. Select a shot in the top row and see the frames of that shot below. Create new shots, or merge existing shots at any time. Each shot is a single asset record, complete with its own metadata.
This means that a one-hour video that has, say, 100 different scenes, is treated within Cumulus as 100 different shots. Video Suite features award-winning shot-detection technology to split up your video files into scenes automatically. Each shot has its own set of metadata, such as transcript, director, camera model, shot location, etc. This way you can find a single shot in the middle of a full-length movie without having to preview the entire movie.
Any number of video-specific metadata fields can be added to suit any video pipeline, and Video Suite automatically captures the "technical" stuff for you, such as frame rate, file format, codec information, and more.

This Video Suite catalog, seen from a Web Client, contains several video-related metadata fields that enable the user to search with unsurpassed precision.
Link your business documents with your scene files, shot lists and other “creative” assets so that you and your assistants can find everything in one place. No hunting through binders, rummaging through tapes, or reloading archived footage.
Complete videos or individual scenes can be webcast via Video Suite, so no massive downloads are required for approvals or viewing. Plus, Cumulus permissions ensure you maintain total control over every webcast—always.
