  • Versioning and Automation
  • GoogleMaps™ Integration with
    Cumulus Sites

Cumulus 8.6 provides important benefits for Administrators and Users, as well as 50+ feature additions and enhancements that make the software more intuitive and user friendly:

For Administrators

Cumulus Web Server Console provides the ability to manage DAM anytime, anywhere via a web browser, dispensing with the need to install a native client on a local computer.

Cumulus Sites can be administered in the newly designed user interface (UI), eliminating the need to edit an XML file on the server.

For Users

File System Companion allows users to set up event-driven asset locations that "watch" what the user is doing and handle management tasks. This feature automates version control to keep a backup copy of the entire document/image history so files don't get lost or overwritten.

With the GoogleMaps™ integration into Cumulus Sites users can now visualize the location of an asset based on geodata stored in the file.

Other new features for users include:

  • Teamwork through advanced collaboration links
  • Multi-language support (advantage for international organizations)
  • User experience – fresh new look for native client
  • Ingestion of metadata through support of new standard IPTC 1.1
